滷鍋 Stew

滷鍋鄉情滿，
The stew is filled with nostalgia
遙遠兒時飯:
For remote childhood meals:
親長揀佳餚，

Elders picked the best ingredients from the stew

豐盛孩童碗。
To enrich children’s bowls.

虛妄 Illusions

視淺自狂妄，

When our vision is shallow we tend to be overconfident:

所見盡'實'相。

Whatever we see is “reality”. 

識廣識謙虛，

When our knowledge is broad we know humility  

有相皆虛妄。

And take whatever we perceive with a grain of salt.

宗教如食品，
Religions are like processed foods
品牌利安心。
With name brands suggesting assurance. 
包裝添加物，
Of the packaging and additives,
哪些益世人?
Which elements are beneficial?

高潮波濤湧，
At high tide waves surge;
低潮色彩豐。
At low tide colors are rich.
有緣潮池見，
At the tide pool we meet by chance,
一生一度逢。
In a lifetime only once.
